The Humbird Speaker transforms everything that is hollow into a loudspeaker. To create this unique sound, the built-in bone conduction technology adds vibrations to objects. Depending on the surface, different sound patterns are created.
Features
The speaker has a diameter of about 4cm and weighs only 35 grams. It has Bluetooth and can therefore easily connect to a second Humbird to create stereo sound.
With surfaces that are not too thick, the Humbird should reach sound levels of up to 115 decibels.
The small companion is charged via Type C to 80% battery capacity within 15 minutes and lasts for 3 hours when fully charged, which is reached after 30 minutes.
Availability and price
After two very successful Kickstarter and Indiegogo campaigns, the Humbird can currently only be pre-ordered via the latter platform. Two loudspeakers cost around $45.
